Prophet muhammad (ﷺ) in torah (TAURAT, BIBLE \ OLD TESTAMENT)

The Torah or Tawrat (Arabic: توراة‎) is a sacred book of Judaism and the word Torah is mentioned 18 times in the holy Qur'an. According to Muslim belief, the Torah was revealed to Moses (Musa) by God and the name of Prophet Moses (Musa) is mentioned 136 times in the holy Quran. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is mentioned in at least 13 places in the Torah, Bible's Old Testament which are as follows:

    1: Book Of Deuteronomy

The Book of Deuteronomy (literally second law) is the fifth book of the Jewish Torah, and the fifth book of the Christian Old Testament, where it is also known as the Fifth Book of Prophet Moses. Prophecies of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is mentioned in at least 6 times in the Book of Deuteronomy.

1st Ref (Deuteronomy 18:15)

The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you shall heed such a prophet.

خُداوند تیرا خُدا تیرے لِئے تیرے ہی درمیان سے یعنی تیرے ہی بھائِیوں میں سے میری مانِند ایک نبی برپا کرے گا ۔ تُم اُس کی سُننا۔

2nd Ref (Deuteronomy 18:18)

I will establish a prophet for them from among their brothers, like you, and I will place My words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

مَیں اُن کے لِئے اُن ہی کے بھائِیوں میں سے تیری مانِند ایک نبی برپا کرُوں گا اور اپنا کلام اُس کے مُنہ میں ڈالُوں گا اور جو کُچھ مَیں اُسے حُکم دُوں گا وُہی وہ اُن سے کہے گا۔

3rd Ref (Deuteronomy 18:19)

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

اور جو کوئی میری اُن باتوں کو جِن کو وہ میرا نام لے کر کہے گا نہ سُنے تو مَیں اُن کا حِساب اُس سے لُوں گا۔

4th Ref (Deuteronomy 18:20)

But the prophet, that shall speak a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.

لیکن جو نبی گُستاخ بن کر کوئی اَیسی بات میرے نام سے کہے جِس کے کہنے کا مَیں نے اُس کو حُکم نہیں دِیا یا اَور معبُودوں کے نام سے کُچھ کہے تو وہ نبی قتل کِیا جائے۔

5th Ref (Deuteronomy 18:21)

And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word which Jehovah hath not spoken?

اور اگر تُو اپنے دِل میں کہے کہ جو بات خُداوند نے نہیں کہی ہے اُسے ہم کیونکر پہچانیں؟۔

6th Ref (Deuteronomy 18:22)

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

توپہچان یہ ہے کہ جب وہ نبی خُداوند کے نام سے کُچھ کہے اور اُس کے کہے کے مُطابِق کُچھ واقِع یا پُورا نہ ہو تو وہ بات خُداوند کی کہی ہُوئی نہیں بلکہ اُس نبی نے وہ بات خُود گُستاخ بن کر کہی ہے تُو اُس سے خَوف نہ کرنا۔

   2: Book Of Isaiah   

The Book of Isaiah is the first of the Latter Prophets in the Hebrew Bible and the first of the Major Prophets in the Christian Old Testament. 

7th Reference (Isaiah 42:01)

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 

دیکھو میرا خادِم جِس کو مَیں سنبھالتا ہُوں ۔ میرابرگُزِیدہ جِس سے میرا دِل خُوش ہے ۔ مَیں نے اپنی رُوح اُس پر ڈالی ۔ وہ قَوموں میں عدالت جاری کرے گا۔

8th Reference (Isaiah 42:02)

He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

وہ نہ چِلاّئے گا اور نہ شور کرے گا اور نہ بازاروں میں اُس کی آواز سُنائی دے گی۔

9th Reference (Isaiah 42:03)

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

وہ مسلے ہُوئے سرکنڈے کو نہ توڑے گا اور ٹمٹاتی بتّی کو نہ بُجھائے گا ۔ وہ راستی سے عدالت کرے گا۔

10th Reference (Isaiah 42:04)

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

وہ ماندہ نہ ہو گا اور ہمّت نہ ہارے گا جب تک کہ عدالت کو زمِین پر قائِم نہ کر لے ۔ جزِیرے اُس کی شرِیعت کااِنتظار کریں گے۔

   3: Book Of Haggai  

The Book of Haggai, known as the Book of Aggeus, is a book of the Hebrew Bible and has its place as the third-to-last of the Minor Prophets. It is a short book, consisting of only two chapters.

11th Reference (Haggai 02:07)

And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. 

مَیں سب قَوموں کو ہِلا دُوں گا اور اُن کی مرغُوب چِیزیں آئیں گی اور مَیں اِس گھر کو جلال سے معمُور کرُوں گا ربُّ الافواج فرماتا ہے۔

   4: Song Of Solomon  

The Song of Solomon, also Song of Songs, Canticle of Canticles is one of the megillot (scrolls) found in the last section of the Tanakh, known as the Ketuvim (or "Writings"), and a book of the Old Testament.

( Hikko mamtaqqim wekullow mahamaddim zeh dowdi wezeh re‘i benowt yerushalim )

His mouth is sweetness; yes, he is altogether lovely (altogether lovely in orignal Hebrew text is ''Mahamaddim'' which is the name of Prophet Muhammad). This is my beloved, and this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem.

اُس کا مُنہ از بس شِیرِین ہے ۔ ہاں وہ سراپا عِشق انگیزہے۔ اَے یروشلِیم کی بیٹیو! یہ ہے میرا محبُوب ۔ یہ ہے میرا پِیارا۔

   5: Book of Malachi    

13th Reference (Malachi 03:01)

Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the LORD of hosts.

دیکھو مَیں اپنے رسُول کو بھیجُوں گا اور وہ میرے آگے راہ درُست کرے گا اور خُداوند جِس کے تُم طالِب ہو ناگہان اپنی ہَیکل میں آ مَوجُود ہو گا ۔ ہاں عہد کا رسُول جِس کے تُم آرزُومند ہو آئے گا ربُّ الافواج فرماتا ہے۔
