Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) NAME mentioned in Bhavishya Purana (roman Sanskrit and English)

There are two types of religious books in Hinduism, one is called Veda and the other is called Purana. There are a total of four Vedas (Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda, and Atharvaveda) which are the most important in Hindu religious books and they are called the words of God. After the four Vedas, there are traditionally 18 Puranas, one of which is the Bhavishya Purana. The title Bhavishya means "future" and Purana means ''ancient'' Bhavishya Purana means ''ancient knowledge about the future''. That is why this religious text (Bhavishya Purana) contains prophecies regarding the future. The Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is also prophecied more than in 25 verses/shlokas of Bhavishya Purana. As we know that Bhavishya Purana was initially written in the Sanskrit language, So first of all we quote verses/shlokas in the original Sanskrit language and then translated them into English.

" Mlecchayi SA su dushita bhumi r vahikaa naam bishruta. Aryadharmo hi nayivatra vahike desh daarune. Tripuro Bali dayityena preshita punaaragatah. Ayoinah SA Varo mattah praptvaan dayitya vardhanah. Mahaamadh Iti khyatah payishaach kriti tatparah. Naagantavyam tavyayaa vupaa paishacha desha dhurtaakey. Matprasaadena vupala tava shuddhi prajaayate ".

A Malecha (belonging to a foreign country and speaking a foreign language) spiritual teacher will appear with his companions. His name will be Mahaamadh (Muhammad). Raja (Bhoj) after giving this Maha Dev Arab (of angelic disposition) a bath in the Panchgavya and the Ganga water (i.e. purifying him of all sins) offered him the present of his sincere devotion and showing him all reverence said, “I make obeisance to thee. O ye! The pride of mankind, the dweller in Arabia, Ye have collected a great force to kill the Devil and you yourself have been protected from the Malecha opponents.

EXPLANATION & KEY POINTS

1. The name of Prophet Muhammad is clearly mentioned in Bhavishya Purana as Mahamadha.
2. He will belong to Arabia. (The Sanskrit word Marusthal means a sandy track of land or a desert). And we know that Prophet Muhammad was from Arabia a desert region.
3. The companions of Prophet Muhammad are specially mentioned as a great force. If we read history, we get an idea of how powerful and brave the companions of Prophet Muhammad were and how many victories they achieved over those who spread evil.
4. Prophet Muhammad has been called the pride of mankind. As he also mentioned in Quran 68:04, Quran 33:21.
5. Then it is said that he will eliminate false and satanic forces, which means he will eliminate idolatry (the worship of idols) and all other evils. And we know that Prophet Muhammad abolished all these rituals of the pre-Islamic era.
