PROPHECY ABOUT PROPHET MUHAMMAD IN samaveda

The Samaveda (sāman "song" and veda "knowledge"), is the Veda of melodies and chants. It is an ancient Vedic Sanskrit text, and part of the scriptures of Hinduism. The exact century of Yajurveda's composition estimated between 1200 and 1000 BCE. The Samaveda is composed in Vedic Sanskrit language, and it is a collection of 6 chapters (adhyayas) with about 1,875 verses (mantras).

There are many prophecies about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the hindu religious book Samaveda, one of them is mentioned in Samaveda Uttara Archika: Mantra Number 1500 (Samveda: Part 2, Book 7, chapter 1, section 5, Verse 1), (Archik: 02, Adhyay 14, Dashati 1, Mantra 12).

Mantra in Devnagari ( मंत्र देवनागरी ):

ओश्म्‌ अहमिद्धि पितुष्परि मेधामृतस्प जग्रह ।

अह सूर्य इवाजनि॥

Mantra in Roman/Latin Sanskrit:

ośm‌ ahamiddhi pituṣpari medhāmṛtaspa jagraha |

aha sūrya ivājani ||

English Translation: 

I have received from my father super intelligence of the universal mind and law, I have realise it too in the soul, and I feel reborn like the refulgent sun.

संख्या पर मन्न्नार्थ इस रूप में दिया गया है- (अहम) मैं (इत्‌ हि) सचमुच, निश्चय से (पितुः) ज्ञानदाता पस्मपिता प्रभु से (ऋतस्य) सत्य की- सत्यज्ञान की (मेधाम्‌) बुद्धि को (परिजग्रह) सर्वतः ग्रहण करता हूँ। इस प्रकार सत्य-ज्ञान को प्राप्त करके (अहम) मैं (सूर्यः इव) सूर्य की भाँति (अजनि) हो गया हैँ।
