PROPHECY ABOUT PROPHET MUHAMMAD IN YAJURVEDA

The Yajurveda (yajus meaning "worship", and veda meaning "knowledge") is the Veda primarily of prose mantras for worship rituals. Yajurveda is one of the four Vedas, and one of the scriptures (religious book) of Hinduism. The exact century of Yajurveda's composition is unknown, and estimated by Witzel to be between 1200 to 800 BCE, contemporaneous with Samaveda and Atharvaveda. The Atharvaveda is composed in Vedic Sanskrit language, and it is a collection of 40 chapters (adhyayas) with about 1,975 verses (mantras).

There are many prophecies about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the hindu religious book Yajurveda, one of them is mentioned in Yajurveda: Chapter (adhyay) 28, Verse (mantra) 19.

Mantra in Devnagari ( मंत्र देवनागरी ):

देव5इन्द्रो नराशंसस्तिवरू थस्त्िबन्धुरो देवमिन्द्रमवर्धयत्‌ । 

शतेन शितिपृष्ठानामाहित: सहसेण प्र वर्त्तते मित्रावरुणेदस्य होत्रमर्हतो बृहस्पति स्तोत्रमश्विना5 ध्वर्यव॑ वसुवने वसुधेयस्य वेतु यज॥॥

Mantra in Roman/Latin Sanskrit:

deva5indro narāśaṃsastivarū thastibandhuro devamindramavardhayat‌ |

śatena śitipṛṣṭhānāmāhita: sahaseṇa pra varttate mitrāvaruṇedasya hotramarhato bṛhaspati stotramaśvinā5 dhvaryava̍ vasuvane vasudheyasya vetu yaja ||

Bhavarth: 0 learned person, just as the soul hankering after eminence, praised by men, masters of various houses comfortable in all times, the past, present and future, develops brilliant electricity with hundred devices, and seated on the back of fast-moving animals engages himself in thousand forms of activities ; and just as the pran and udan, the companions of the soul fit to earn living, electricity the guardian of great projects of the world, laudable sun and moon, and the man willing to perform yajna, are all made serviceable by the soul for helping the aspirant after riches ; so shouldst thou perform yajna.

हे विद्वन! जैसे (त्रिबन्धुर) ऋषि आदि रूप तीन बन्धनों वाला (त्रिवरूथः) तीन सुखदायक घरों का स्वामी (नराशंसः) मनुष्यों की स्तुति करने और (इन्द्र: ऐश्वर्य को चाहने वाला (देवः] जीव (शतेन) सैकड़ों प्रकार के कर्म से (देवम्‌) प्रकाशमान (इन्द्रम्‌) विद्युद्‌ रूप अग्नि को (अवर्धयत्‌) बढ़ावे। जो (शितिपृष्ठानाम्‌) जिन की पीठ पर बैठने से शीघ्र गमन होते हैं, उन पशुओं के बीच (आहितः) अच्छे प्रकार स्थिर हुआ (सहस्नेण) असर प्रकार के पुरुषार्थ से (प्र, वर्त्तते) प्रवृत्त होता है। (मित्रावरुणा) प्राण और उदान (अस्य) (इत) ही (होत्रम) भोजन की (अर्हतः) योग्यता रखने वाले जीव के सम्बन्धी (वसुधेयस्य) संसार के (बृहस्पतिः) बड़े-बड़े पदार्थों का रक्षक बिजुली रूप अग्नि (स्तोत्रम्‌) स्तुति के साधन (अश्विना) सूर्य-चन्द्रमा और (अध्वर्यवम्‌) अपने को यज्ञ की इच्छा करने वाले जन को (वसुवने) धन मांगने वाले के लिए (वेतु) कमनीय करे, वैसे (यज) सज्ञ कीजिए०१९० अष्टाविंशोध ध्यायः १५१५
